Service Terms and Conditions

Cancellations
● Bookings cancelled 14 or more days from the activity will receive an 80% refund.
● Bookings cancelled between 7 and 14 days of the activity will receive a 50% refund.
● Bookings cancelled less than 7 days before the date will incur the full charge of the activity.
● Hogsback Adventures reserves the right to cancel any activity without prior notice due to circumstances
outside of the control of Hogsback Adventures.
Bookings
● Bookings shall be deemed to have been concluded in Hogsback, South Africa and shall be interpreted
according to the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
● No bookings can be taken as confirmed unless we receive full payment.
Weather
● Inclement weather may cause alterations to the activity itinerary; Hogsback Adventures will not be held
liable in any way for these possible occurrences.
● In the case of inclement weather preventing any activities occurring, Hogsback Adventures reserves the
right to either move that activity to another day or at their discretion, refund 80% of the booking fee.
Indemnity
● All clients must sign an indemnity form prior to the departure date of the activity; no client will be allowed
to commence an activity without having signed an indemnity form.
● Although every precaution is taken on activity to ensure all clients safety, Hogsback Adventures accepts no
responsibility for any death, injury, or loss/damage to any person or property as a result of any reasons
whatsoever.
● The client realises that to participate in these adventure activities he/she may require a measure of
physical fitness and no heart condition, it is the client’s obligation to ensure that he/she is medically fit to
embark on this activity.
Damage to Hogsback Adventures property
● If any client damages property ie. bicycles, abseiling gear, archery equipment, vehicles/trailers, etc. on
purpose or through negligence, the client will be held responsible for the repair or replacement of the
damaged property. This excludes wear and tear, which Hogsback Adventures accepts can happen.
I HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT IN ITS ENTIRETY AND UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENT. I AM AWARE THIS IS AN ASSUMPTION OF RISK, WAIVER AND
RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND I SIGN IT VOLUNTARILY. I ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT I SHOULD NOT AND MAY NOT PARTICIPATE IN THIS ACTIVITY IF I
AM UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS.
